From the bottom of the garden...
Buccaneer Diving was started over twenty years ago in Mombasa by Bruce Phillips . Bruce's love of diving started as a child in 1977 encouraged by his father who was (and in fact still is) a very keen diver and one of the pioneers of diving in East Africa.

Initially Buccaneer Diving was very small and had only two members, Bruce as the Instructor and Ropa (presently our head captain) as the boat captain; it operated from the bottom of Bruce's parents' garden.

Buccaneer Diving has now had the largest certification numbers in Kenya for several years in a row and is already a significant certifier in Zanzibar - Buccaneer's latest venture.

Buccaneer Diving has several dive centres in Kenya and 5 star IDC centre in Paje on the South East coast of Zanzibar.
