Maji Moto Eco Camp is situated in a local Masai village in the world renowned Masai Mara National Reserve.

Maji Moto Eco Camp consists of several secluded igloo type of tents, equipped with mattresses, pillows and beddings. The camp has dining area with stunning views over the plains, kitchen, shower with hot water and toilet. Evening bath under the stars in a natural hot spring is a very special gift of nature in Maji Moto.

The decision to set up this camp came from our love for this beautiful surroundings and amazing people who live there. We wanted to show more to our guests. We wanted to show the beauty of the Masai culture and nature on a different way than from a car seat. The very special experience you will never forget!

The camp blends beautifully with the natural environment. All the facilities are built in a local Masai style with natural materials. There is no generator in the camp. We kept the thinks simple and traditional, with candles, lanterns and camp fire in the evening. Of course there is solar power to charge your cameras batteries in the evening.

Fresh food supplies are broth from Narok town with every arrival including fresh locally grown vegetables and fruits. All meals are prepared simply but delicious by a camp cook, blending traditional Kenyan and international cuisine.

The camp is part owned and run by a group of Masai from local community. Their culture and knowledge about the nature is amazing; the camp is a perfect place to experience all this and an ideal site for camping safaris. Nature walks, cycling safaris, walking safaris, night game drives, village and school visits are possible activities here.
