Tamarind Beach Hotel is a bungalow hotel by the white sandy beaches of the Indian Ocean. Accommodation is set in a peaceful and friendly atmosphere, all rooms facing one of the most beautiful and unspoilt beaches in Zanzibar. Tamarind is situated at Uroa, a traditional fishing village. In Uroa there are only 6 hotels and still has that unique Zanzibar feeling, not yet discovered by "beach boys".

Tamarind has 18 rooms, all in bungalows with sea view. Our bungalows are built in natural coral stones with roofs made from coconut leaves.

All room have private bathroom, hot water, nets on windows and beds, ceiling fan and a front terrace. All our bathrooms are new.

Our restaurant has a wide variety of local and international food. Lobster, King Prawns, Octopus, Calamari, Tuna, Kingfish etc. menu also includes Chicken, Beef, Pasta, Pizza and Burgers

The bar is fully stocked and offers coctails, wine, shakes, fresh juice and local beer..
