Paje by Night was the very first resort to be built in Paje. Since then other small hotels have come up in the  nearby nevertheless the area continue to offer  long stretches of beach, dotted by palm trees and a lush tropical vegetation, where it is still possible to take beautiful undisturbed walks. This is certainly one of the most authentic places of the island and not affected by mass tourism, although no longer isolated as it was ten years ago.

Paje by Night is not only a resort but also a lifestyle. Some of you, dear friends, will continue to dream of us and come back at least once a year ... Paje by Night is our small and wonderful village. Not wonderful in terms of luxury [we do not offer luxury] but because it has been shaped on us and it resembles our desire of a free, unconditioned,,barefoot life, in one of the most beautiful and unspoiled tropical beaches of the east coast of Zanzibar.

We try to deliver to you everything you need to spend a beautiful day but we do not want to replicate Europe or our trip to the south [and yours] would no longer make sense. Forget Europe for a while and bear in mind that more than 7000 kilometers are separating you from home even if you have covered that distance by the air in less than 7 hours. If you think you can't succeed try an approach by land, perhaps after having crossed the North Africa, passed the Sahara caravan tracks, walked into dense equatorial forests many things about this place will be much easier to understand and to tolerate!

The resort consists of 20 bungalows, divided into various types; the bar, the restaurant with à la carte menu, the pool with hydromassage and private solarium, the ethnic bazaar and the small "Beauty Farm".

Paje by Night is not located on the beach but just 100 meters from it and surrounded by a lush garden with palms and tropical trees. Just one minute walk, barefoot, through a sandy white path, will take you to the beach bathed by the turquoise and crystal clear waters of lagoon enclosed within the barrier reef.
