Indigo Aviation

Indigo Aviation has the only single tasked, twin engine full airline facility aircraft that offers coaching between Dar Es Salaam, Zanzibar Island, Iringa, Mbeya, Mtwara and Nachingwea.

We operate the Douglas DC3 twin engine with 2 pilots - that allows us to safely and legally fly over the Indian Ocean at night - extending our flight schedule for your convenience.

Connecting with SAA, KLM, Swiss International, BA, Qatar Airlines and all other major carriers, we offer you more choice and more time.

We also offer charters to any destination within Tanzania - where our aircraft can land and take-off, is where we fly!

Indigo Aviation provides cost effective, efficient and comfortable transportation.

All Indigo Aviation aircraft comply with the International Civil Aviation Authority and are scheduled on strict internationally based service and maintenance plans.

"To anyone thinking flying with this airline should avoid them at all cost. They are extremely unreliable and unsafe we almost crash on landing in Dar es Salaam and when off the runway. Stay away people. "

"ay said... I agree with Pernille's comments above about Indigo's DC3 on how it does not feel safe. I flew on it once out of Zanzibar and did not get off the ground after they tried on two attempts. Indigo Aviation did not even want to refund my money. "

"I will never again ride with Indigo, this is a old airplane that does not even start, and I could not get my money back, so I sucked it up and bought a ticket with a more reputable airline. do not fly with these yahoo's."
