If you are looking for a more comfortable retreat to relax and enjoy the wonders of the indigenous forest of Mt. Kenya, Batian's View bed and breakfast will provide you with all you need. Our prime accommodation is a self contained three bedroom house with all the luxuries of the higher priced lodges commonly found in East Africa.
Built in 1996, the Batian's View guesthouse has two fireplaces, a master bedroom with adjoining bathroom, and two larger bedrooms- one of which is on the second floor and overlooks the forest of the Naro Moru River.

Our more modest price range provides you with all you need to prepare your own breakfast and you are then free to bring your own food and beverages to prepare your own meals in our large kitchen. If you would rather your meals prepared for you, our staff will arrange a menu to suite your tastes and schedule. Daily cleaning is provided with all packages and for an additional charge you can have your laundry done each day as well. Or if you are the more self-sufficient type, we will provide you will the necessary supplies so you can do your own laundry when needed.

Batian's View also has four very modest cottages with can accommodate groups of up to twenty individuals. These cottages come with bedding and an option for your meals to be prepared on a daily basis. On the property is also a central bathroom and shower house, a very short walk from any of the cottages.

If you still need more room or are looking for a "shoe-string" price, Batian's View has plenty of tents that can be pitched on the lower property to accommodate groups of up to forty individuals.

For any of these options it is important to book your stay four months in advance so as to not conflict with other visitors.
