Akamba Public Road Services is an experienced long distance passenger bus transport and courier company for over 55 years. It is engaged in the business of passenger and courier transport in the East Africa region currently having operations in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. The two divisions of courier and passenger transport are distinct business units but operate in harmony in a manner that creates synergy through shared resources.

Physical Locations and Regional Presence
Akamba Head Office is located in Nairobi’s Industrial Area along Kitui Road off Kampala Road on ample space that houses the administrative offices, the main workshop as well as a courier office. There are 3 other offices within Nairobi CBD as well as one on Ngong Road at the Prestige Plaza. Outside Nairobi we have an expansive branch network within East Africa that enables us to serve customers in over 50 destinations.

Waiting Lounge Services
We strive to give our customers the best possible service. We have invested in spacious, well ventilated Waiting Lounge facilities for transit and local customers. These lounges have TV sets and feature clean, well maintained basic amenities.

Meals
Passengers connecting across Nairobi are offered meals at our café in Town Office at our cost.

Water and Refreshments
Passengers traveling to Dar and Kampala Royal are offered a range of refreshments in addition to breakfast at our cost.
