The Evergreen Bungalows on the East Coast of Zanzibar is a small and relaxed, family run beach hotel, located on the eastern side of the exotic East African island of Zanzibar. Situated in a palm garden direct on the beach, it overlooks the beautiful fine white sands and coconut palms of Bwejuu beach.

Our own diving school African Blue Divers run by the german owner offers a wide range of scuba diving activities on the surrounding reefs of Zanzibar. Besides that, you can explore the neighbouring mangroves, swim with the dolphins, visit Stonetown and the spicefarms, explore the island on the back of a bycicle or motorbike and much more.

With our local dhow you can sail along in the Indian Ocean, snorkel at the coral reef or the nearby 'lagoon', go deep sea fishing with local fishing gear.

Daily life at the Evergreen Bungalows is much regulated by the moon and the tides. The lagoon and coastline have much to offer in their own right. The full moon rising out of the sea is a wonderful romantic experience you're not likely to forget. On moonless nights gaze and get lost in the star-filled sky.
