Roy Safaris Ltd., registered in 1989, started off with one (1) vehicle and two (2) employees progressing slowly but steadily to its current fleet of over 25 vehicles and about 55 employees. We have chosen not to grow any larger as we fully understand the importance of maintaining 'personalized' service.

Our offices, situated along Serengeti Road in Arusha, is an ideal base for your Northern Circuit Safari or mountain treks. Our front-desk staff who are friendly, helpful & polite, conduct very thorough "pre-departure" briefings and are always there to meet clients on return from their safari/trek.

Apart from undergoing formal training in Nature & Wildlife Management, our guides also undergo in-house training aimed at enhancing their communication skills and teamwork. Many of our guides speak more than two different languages which has proved very useful for our non-English speaking clients. The welfare of our staff is paramount to the efficient running of our business - we do our best to ensure they receive necessary training and continued professional development. On our tours and treks, the safety and welfare of our staff is just as important as that of our clients.

How we monitor our services? - one may wonder...
We provide tour-assessment cards which gives us a thorough feedback on how our services rank and how best to improve them. We also frequently ask suppliers, customers and staff for frank and constructive information which helps us continually monitor and improve our services.
