East African Air Charters is a professional air charter company, owned and operated by Mike Seton and his son, David Seton. It is unique at Wilson Airport, its home base, as being one of the largest privately owned air charter companies operating there, and it is also one of the oldest established companies on the airfield.

The company was set-up in the early 1960s, the heyday of East Africa's light aviation industry, by Mike Seton to repair and maintain some of the many planes then being operated.

The company has grown steadily since its early beginnings, and while Nick has moved onto flying airlines elsewhere in East Africa, David is now Company Chief Pilot in charge of ten charter aircraft.

In addition to flying, David is well known to all our VIP clients through his detailed handling of all aspects of their quotes and enquiries.

Mike, an enthusiastic commercial pilot splits his days between flying and keeping an eagle eye on the thriving maintenance division. This side of the Company has been in continuous business for more than 40 years and employs over 40 staff doing both in-house and outside maintenance work as well as contracted work for clients & other aircraft owners.
