UGANDA FACT FILE
Uganda was called ’the pearl of Africa’, by Winston Churchill. This was because of the e country’s great natural beauty. The stretch from Entebbe’s international airport, breathtaking equatorial location on the forested shore of island-strewn Lake Victoria, this shows that Uganda is a place for the extraordinary safari destination.
Entebbe is an urban centre that is located on a rumbling seven hills. Just 40km (25 miles) away is Kampala-the capital city of Uganda. In the city you can realize the economic growth of the area and the political stability that has been since 1986.
Uganda is the centre where the East African savannah meets with the West African jungle. In this fast growing country, you can see lions moving around the open plains; track chimpanzees through the rainforest undergrowth, then navigate tropical channels teeming with hippos and crocodiles before setting off into the misty mountains to stare deep into the eyes of a mountain gorilla.
